Thirty Freaking Two!
Happy June Friends!
It's been awhile since I've blogged, so I figured it was time to get back into my mind and write out my words and thoughts :)
June is my favourite month by far. The days are longer, the Sun visits us more frequently, and it's the month of the year that I get to celebrate turning another year older & it's also our anniversary month for my husband and I!
We also welcomed our beautiful Golden Retriever puppy, Willow into our family on June 2nd, and what an absolute delight it has been to have her join our crazy clan!
This past weekend was exactly what my heart needed.
My brother and his beautiful lady came up to visit us. We spent the weekend out at camp with my parents, and showed them our new home, and meet our new family member Willow.
Creating those memories, and spending that time with them, is completely priceless to me. It was such an honour to celebrate our anniversary and my birthday with them. My heart and cup felt extremely full.
Yesterday I was blessed to celebrate another year around the Sun, and do so with the comfort of all of my kiddos home with me for the day.
Connor was extremely whiney, as he is getting over a cold. And just wanted extra comfort, and was harrassing our poor puppy.
Hannah barfed all day. Poor girl. She felt so terrible, and it showed up in her behaviour. She projectile vomited all over my kitchen floor, all over the wall, and was just so very sad.
We didn't put any thoughts into dinner until it was already past dinner time. We attempted to go for dinner, to find out that nowhere is open on Monday's for dinner, and while we were out on our excursion, Hannah barfed in the truck all over herself and her carseat.
Sounds glorious eh?
HAHAHAHA it was actually super super super far from a glorious day.
Imagine everything going wrong...
That's basically how our day went.
But we made the most of it. And we got through it.
Anyways, happy birthday to me!
BUT, I didn't let the hard day define me.
I took the lessons out of the day.
I still crushed the workout.
I got to spend the day with my three beautiful kiddos.
I was showered in love by friends and family.
Today, I'm feeling super tired but extremely grateful for every opportunity that life has thrown my way.
I hope you all have a wonderful day!
Thanks for stopping by and reading my blog!
Until next time.
The light in me, honours and sees the light in you.
